Launches can be overwhelming. There are so many moving parts – the offer, the bonuses, the copy, the emails, the social media posts. It’s easy to get lost in the details and miss important steps. That’s why having a plan and process in place is so critical. 

In this article, we’ll explore how you can use AI to systematize and streamline your next big launch, saving you time while producing high-quality results. We’ll use my launch checklist as a framework, demonstrating where AI tools like ChatGPT can lend a hand.

Developing the Offer

The foundation of any successful launch is a compelling offer that resonates with your audience. There are several key places where AI can help in crafting your offer (below). 

1. Choosing a Name

Kick things off by using AI to brainstorm creative names for your launch or promotion. Share your target audience, positioning, and any other relevant details. Then generate a list of possible names and select the top options. Note: I rarely take the names that ChatGPT suggests. More often than not, they are simply a starting place for me so I can get out of my own head. 

2. Crafting the Offer Itself

Explain the core components of your offer to the AI, along with background on your ideal customer. Ask it to suggest additional pieces to include that would make it an easy “yes” for your audience based on the problem you’re solving. I like having all of this information (and the others) in a single document that I can share with my team. If you’re a solopreneur, it’s still great to have it in one place. Trust me on this one – it’ll save you tons of time and also make your next launch easier. 

Here’s a prompt you can use with ChatGPT or Claude to help you craft your offer. 
“I’m going to be launching my offer,  [NAME OF YOUR OFFER] and I want your help coming up with the structure of the offer (what the offer should include). I’ll tell you what I’m thinking so far and I want you to help me clarify it. Specifically, what is the one problem this offer solves that will be especially appealing to my audience, and what exactly should I include in this offer?”

3. Identifying Benefits

Once you’ve determined the offer specifics, have the AI tool you’re using (ChatGPT or Claude are my recommendations), recommend compelling benefits to highlight based on your target customer and the transformation they’ll experience. This will give you powerful sales copy fodder. Having ChatGPT identify these ahead of writing the sales copy (if you don’t already have sales copy for this) will make writing quality sales copy much easier. 

4. Maximizing Perceived Value

The next step is sweetening the pot with discounts, bonuses, and other incentives that increase perceived value. AI can strategize here as well. Try this prompt: 

“I want to charge [NUMBER] for this offer. What else can I add to this offer that will help solve the main problem [describe the problem the offer solves] and increase the value of this offer? Give me 20 different ideas.”

5. Crafting Case Studies and Testimonials

Case studies and testimonials go a long way in providing social proof. If this isn’t a new offer, you likely have case studies, testimonials, and social proof you can use already. If not, you can also reach out to people who have used your services, products, etc. 

What often takes folks the longest to respond, especially when your audience is busy (like entrepreneurs tend to be), is knowing exactly what to say. Give them a template to use or ask questions to help them create.

6. Determining Pre-Launch and Launch Cadence 

Having a strategic launch sequence is key to driving urgency and conversions. Provide ChatGPT with details on your audience, offer price points, and ideal timeline. It can suggest the optimal launch flow including dates, times, early bird discounts, and any fast action bonuses.

7. Creating Pre-Launch Content

Work with the ChatGPT or Claude to map out 3-5 emails to send to your waitlist in advance of the big launch. Tell ChatGPT about the most common objections your audience will likely have (and if you’re not sure, ask ChatGPT to help you identify them). Ideally if we can bust objections before your audience even knows they’ll have them, it makes it launching so much easier. So what objections will they have? Some common objections to many offers is time — “do I have time” and “is it the right time?” and cost. In the pre-launch emails, then we want to make it clear how working with you will be worth the time and financial investment, even before you talk about the offer. Let’s say you have a coaching offer and one of the objections is the financial objection. How can you overcome it in pre-launch content is by talking about ways having a coach makes or saves money. 

7. Creating Launch Content

Now it’s time to come up with the launch content. There are a few major players in launch content, so I’ll outline those below.

Sales Page Copy

For any sales pages, ask ChatGPT to craft copy that speaks directly to your ideal customer and addresses their concerns. Share any case studies or testimonials you want included. As a copywriter, here’s my process for creating this. 

Step 1: I make a voice or video recording of me talking out my offer. What’s included, why I created it, what problem it solves, who it’s for, how it’ll help them, and anything that makes it special. If I can’t think of some of those, then I ask ChatGPT to help me come up with it. 

Step 2: After I’ve made the recording (I’m an external processor so getting all that stuff out of my head and in verbal form really helps me move forward fast), I take the transcript and upload it into ChatGPT. Then I say “I’m going to tell you about my offer and audience. I want you to create an outline for the sales page that will give us the highest probability for success. Success in this situation is making the sale.”

Then I insert the transcript and copy and paste the info I have about my audience.

Emails

Some of the most important emails — or at least the ones we see performing best, again and again, are: 

1. The “What even is this” email. This email talks about what the offer is. It’s the nitty gritty. Without this email, you’re going to lose a lot of potentially interested people because they don’t understand what it is or the problem it solves. 

2. The “Here are the reasons to join” email. How will this help them solve their problem? Be super specific about both the problem and how this is the solution to that specific problem. 

3. The “comparing the cost” email – what you’re doing right now is costing you even if you don’t realize it. Here’s what it’s costing you in time/money. Here’s how that compares to the cost of this program/service/etc. 

4. The”you’re running out of time” email – this is a reminder about the offer and that time is running out to get the bonus/current price. 

5. The “surprise bonus” email – this email gives them even more reason to join. Usually this is a bonus that busts an objection, the biggest objection, that your audience has. 

6. The “today’s the last day, here’s a quick recap” email 

7. The identity/how much longer email: This email talks about the opportunity cost. What opportunities are they missing by not moving forward? Who are they becoming that they could become faster with your help? 

8. And finally, the “final email” email. This email lets them know this is their last, final chance to get all the current pricing, bonuses, whatever the urgency piece of it is. 

Social Media Posts 

After you’ve created the emails, ask ChatGPT to turn them into social posts. Give it the specific social platform you’re wanting the posts for. I like using Midjourney to create interesting AI pictures that stop the scroll. I then use the app Insight Face with Midjourney to make the image actually look like me. Here are a few examples.
